The legend himself: Michael Jordan. For this shoot, Rocky worked under The Famous Group which and had been approached by advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi for their Gatorade campaign. Part of the campaign was filming over 20+ star athletes from all over the country for their digital advertising and digital marketing campaign.
Filming with MJ was as every bit as awesome as you’d imagine. Even when it came to memorizing his lines, he was competitive, refusing to let up when Rocky offered to change the type to make the lines easier. In that short instance, it was clear in every way why he was and always will be the GOAT.
Filming took place on a snowy day in Chicago as Rocky worked with his crew of 50 all to make MJ look great. Props to the crew, production company, and agency for making all the logistics flow so smoothly. Aside from Michael, nothing dramatic happened on set at all. And the truth is, the best shoots you ever experience are the ones that are boringly efficient, effective, and the clients walk away ecstatic. Which they did.
